MenteX Privacy Policy

Welcome to MenteX (hereinafter referred to as "this App"), an application that provides AI entertainment functions. We attach great importance to the protection of your privacy. This policy will explain how we collect, use, store and protect your information, especially the processing rules for facial data.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to fulfill the functions:

- Image/Video Materials: When you use functions such as face swap, image stylization, and image-to-video conversion, we will collect the image/video files you actively upload (materials containing human faces will trigger facial data processing).

- Facial Feature Data: When using the face swap function, we will temporarily extract facial feature points (such as coordinates of eyes, nose, and mouth) solely for the natural integration of the face swap effect. We will not collect complete facial templates, facial identifiers, or other biometric information.

2. Processing Rules for Facial Data

We follow the principle of "real-time processing and immediate deletion" for your facial data:

- Purpose of Use: Only used to generate the face swap effect you specify, and will not be used for algorithm training, user profiling, or any other purposes unrelated to the function.

- Retention Period: Facial data is only temporarily cached on the local device during the operation of the function. After the face swap effect is generated and delivered to you, all original facial data and intermediate processing data will be automatically and completely deleted and will not be stored on the server or local device.

- Sharing and Disclosure: We will not share your facial data with any third party, except when required by law (in which case we will only provide the necessary information and notify you).

3. Collection and Use of Other Information

- Device Information: To ensure the operation of the App, we will collect basic information such as device model and operating system version (excluding personal identification information) for optimizing function compatibility.

- Permission Application: When using image/video functions, we will apply for "photo album access permission". You can turn off the permission in device settings at any time. After turning off, you will not be able to use the corresponding functions, but it will not affect other services.

4. Information Security Protection

- We adopt end-to-end encryption technology to protect the data transmission process and prevent information from being illegally obtained.

- Strictly restrict internal personnel's data access rights. Only authorize necessary technical personnel to process data, and all operations are fully logged for traceability.

5. Your Rights

- Right to Know: You can understand the information processing rules through this policy.

- Right to Autonomy: You can refuse to provide image/video materials (but the corresponding functions will not be available).

- Right to Consultation and Complaint: If you have any questions about this privacy policy, you can contact us through the email at the end of this document.

6. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy in accordance with changes in laws and regulations or function adjustments. After the update, we will prompt you within the App. Your continued use will be deemed as consent to the revised content.
